Stop by Patagonia Pittsburgh on Saturday, June 29 from 1-4 PM for a Children's Happy Hour with Pennsylvania Master Naturalist.
Kids can bee friendly to pollinators and construct a home made from recyclable materials for solitary bees (the kind that don't sting). Bee homes are quick and easy to make. They are also small and portable, so it will be an easy trip home.
In addition to the bee home workshop, we'll also have some digital microscopes so both adults and kids can hone their naturalist skills by looking at natural objects at a magnified view.
There will be kid-friendly snacks and drinks and beer for the adults. Plus, a chance to win some product! All cash donations collected during the happy hour will go to Pennsylvania Master Naturalist.
