Lucky for us surfers, the far north is full of setups and storms, rich in perfect, empty waves. Surfing in some of these cold and remote corners of the world has taught me patience, grit and respect for the people who pull on 5mm wetsuits every day. At home in California, I seek out quiet mornings and a connection to nature.
