0:00Do you ever see a gimbal like this and just wonder like, what is all that stuff? Well, I'm going to show you what all the pieces are, how it works, and show you the result.
0:09All right, so this is the DJI RS4 Pro gimbal, basically the best gimbal that you can get on the market. This does everything. And then, uh, I have an FX3 on here and an Atlas Mercury anmorphic lens on here.
0:24These lenses are sick.
0:26The E-mount to PL adapter I'm using is from Mofage and that is because it has an ND filter, a variable ND filter that you can just slip in there so then, uh, on gimbals, this is just way more convenient instead of having like a matte box on there or something like that.
0:41So the the main thing here is the Ronin RS4 Pro, and everything is kind of built around the RS4 Pro.
0:48This right here is a lidar and this will actually make any PL manual lens into an autofocus lens.
0:57So you can see here as I move the camera away, it is actually autofocusing on this camera.
1:03And how it's doing that is it's using the lidar to sense how far something is, and then it's connected to this focus motor.
1:12This is the focus motor, this is essentially what powers your autofocus.
1:15That's working in tandem there.
1:16And then under here we have the DJI HDR transmission system.
1:20And with that, you can connect the video feed to an iPad or any device really, any screen. Um, so your director can see what's happening or whoever needs to see this.
1:30And you can actually
1:31I can use this iPad and SDR transmission combination to control the gimbal.
1:38So, um, the director could be kind of operating the camera.
1:42One person would be manning the gimbal and then the other person would just be framing up and making sure you're getting what you want.
1:49And this is like a really kind of just like very intuitive, easy way.
1:53You could basically hand this to anybody and they would just be able to kind of frame things up as long as they have some sense of composition.
2:01Unfortunately,
