Millions of older adults who rely on SNAP will lose their benefits in November due to a lapse in funding. AARP Foundation, a charitable affiliate of AARP, is providing emergency funding to community organizations on the ground to help them deliver meals to homebound older adults, provide meals at senior centers, and groceries at food banks.
To meet this urgent need, AARP Foundation will match donations, dollar for dollar, up to $750,000 – and all funds will go directly to frontline organizations to support older adults during this critical time.
