The Henry Ford's first major home acquisition in 40 years, the Jackson Home is both a family home and a national landmark. In this home, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Jackson family and other movement leaders helped shape the Voting Rights Movement and advance the passage of the landmark 1965 Voting Rights Act. Moved carefully from Selma, Alabama, the home opens in Greenfield Village in June.
