0:00My name is Jacqueline and my age is 69.
0:03I was diagnosed with a stage 4 anal tumor, and it's been almost 10 years now since I've been cancer-free.
0:14My doctor warned me that it was going to be the hardest battle of my life on three different occasions before I started treatment.
0:29He asked me to be sure that it was something that I wanted to do because it was going to be very painful.
0:35And I will tell you that you cannot imagine the amount of pain that it was.
0:37Everything in my gut had been killed by the radiation and the chemotherapy, which I ended up with six weeks of daily radiation and almost 400 hours of chemotherapy.
0:48I just didn't want to eat because I didn't want the pain of having to sit down on the toilet and go to the bathroom.
0:57I ended up losing 35 pounds in two weeks because I refused to eat.
1:04But the doctors warned me that if I kept losing weight that they would have to stop the radiation.
1:14So I had to start eating again.
1:21I ate a lot of tuna fish, and I was craving beets.
1:27And that kept me from losing any more weight.
1:31Better me than somebody else that can't handle it.
1:34I got through it, and it's okay and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
1:39It is a very painful diagnosis.
1:42After starting Rise, I really didn't feel that boost of energy which a lot of people feel from the mushrooms.
1:54But after the third week, um, I will say that I did start feeling more leveled out energy-wise.
2:06I didn't have as low of lows as I had before.
2:11But for me, Rise basically has been the fact that I don't have colon issues on a daily basis.
2:25If I have one a month now, I'm surprised.
2:30I don't have a traitorous asshole anymore as I call it.
2:36My BM's are formed and regular now where they weren't.
2:41I love coffee, I've always loved coffee.
2:46I drink Rise with my coffee.
2:49That's my Rise experience on a daily basis.
2:54I often wake up at 3:00 in the morning with a headache from my snoring and my apnea.
3:02But Rise in my coffee and 20 minutes later, I'm good to go and I'm fast asleep within half an hour again.
3:11I don't have any family.
3:15I am my family.
3:18I just moved on a whim and here I am.
3:23Maybe not a whim, but a calling let's say.
3:27I would ask the diabetic community to consider Rise.
3:33Sugar does not build good gut buddies.
3:37I would love to see a turmeric Rise.
3:42Turmeric is just so good for inflammation.
3:47I think that that would be a glorious addition.
